| Created in 1904, the Royal Golf Club Evian is considered as one of Europe's most beautiful golf courses (a par 72 rating, a 6030 m course). The course, totally renovated, is the talented marriage of an exceptional setting and a course requiring great technical skills.
The installation of an automatic watering system guarantees that the grass is of an excellent quality all saison long, and the new sand greens with their multiple slopes have raised putting to an art. It is a technical course, where every hole has its particularities. As the game progresses encounter obstacles provided by water, large white sand bunkers, rough ground, majestic trees and ever-changing landscapes. Feast your eyes on unforgettable views over Lake Geneva and the nearest summits of the French Alps.
Different training courses are on offer in order to improve your handicap or take your first steps on the greens.
Situated around a 16th century farmhouse, the Royal Golf Club offers un magnificent club house with a restaurant and a panoramic terrace overlooking the course. |
| By car : Geneva-Evian (40 km)
From Geneva, take direction Evian / Thonon and go into France following N 5 until you reach EVIAN. At the first round-about take a right up the hill. After 500m take a left and then the first right.
By plane : Geneva-Cointrin International Airport (45 km).
By boat : connection Lausanne-Evian (35 mn), several time a day.
By train : Paris-Evian, regular TGV highspeed train service |
